Thank you so much for this incredibly informative webinar.

I have a question similar to one posed in the webinar.

I am Irish and living in the UK. My English civil partner is the birth mother to our son, who was conceived through DAHR here, and born here. My legal status in the UK is that of ‘Parent’ and I’m named as such on my son’s birth certificate.

We wish to move to Ireland and wish to know if
    A. I can get parental legal status in Ireland.
    B. My son can gain Irish citizenship

I would be so grateful if Nuala can help me answer these questions.

    Many thanks,
    Susan
